If the car is not sold by end of the week, I will be stripping it and keeping the turbo gear for my next build. Cheers

Im not sure how the whole process works, in terms of insurance/vic roads/ viv certificates etc (do insurance companies notify vic roads?)
Its been assessed by the other blokes insurance company (he hit me) and ive received a payout (market value minus salvage value, because I wanted to keep the car). I still own the car, its in my name, my rego etc
I just cant afford to have it sitting in the street, rego going to waste, when I cant drive it. I dont have another car and Im over riding the pushbike to work everyday.

What his saying is there was an accident the owner was paid out and usually the insurance company then notes it down as being a repairable write off so it could maybe need a viv report done which is roughly near $500ish now but thats on top of whatever it needs to be repaired and then to get it in a roadworthy state so you can re register it.
