My gf's parents said the gov payments have been stopped, someone objected or something, anyone else hear anything???

2 Things Mate. 1. Its a $900 payout. 2. It is being contested by a uni lecturer in the supreme court but has not yet been stopped. It will need to be stopped prior to the 2nd of april or else it will go ahead.

As above, has not been stopped yet. Taxation department needs to be notified no later than the 2nd of april.

at the end of the day those payouts are irresponsible, and while we al would like an extra 900.. it's not going to do anything for the economy and it will be a debt our kids will be paying off for a long time - all round bad idea. That superpipe from QLD to Vic would be a much better use and provide a lot more jobs IMO.

lol rego is $600 here, payed it yesterday and i agree, the $900 is stupid... $900 will last most ****s a week or 2, and most of us are in alot of debt anyway, so it will be paying bills and credit cards, which does sweet fk all for the economy lol... im happy cause ill be getting some car parts but wont be good if the economy doesnt pick up Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
