Hey guys thought i might put up some info of my daily, haven't had it for very long but after owning a handful of early girl corollas n recently selling my rx7 i wanted to go back to an old rolla and stumbled upon this thing. always loved the KE10 shape and knew i had to have this soon as i saw it. its basically a bog stock KE10, 1K, 4 speed, drum brakes, all that ****e. has been resprayed in matt black at some point, seats/door trims have been redone in red vinyl, dash sprayed in matt black and replaced the floor carpet. looks awesome in contrast to the exterior paint. the standard steering wheel was buggered so a wheel from a toyota bus was sourced and looks sweet i reckon, altho slightly big lol. gone are the standard 12" rims replaced with nicer sized 14s with toyota crown hubbies and plastic walls. the whole thing has been dumped into the weeds, front springs compressed and the rear leafs have been flipped over. also included are the venetians which should'v been standard to begin with lol. going to keep it standard for the time being but plans are to ditch the 1K and drop in a heavily worked 5K or carb 7K (if i can find one) with a 5 speed which will make it a sweet daily cruiser. heres some pics anyway, let me know what u think.
