I have a set of 19x8 ROH Fury's about to go on my VL. I belive the rims are a +40 offset? Would 245/35/19's scrub at the back (assuming an adjustable panhard rod will get the diff in the middle)? Will they foul the front at all? According to my measurements i have 65mm on the left side between the axle and the guard, and 85mm on the right side. Adjustable Panhard rod will even that out to 75mm each? The guards are lightly rolled and could be rolled more if needed (ie, could get another 10mm each out of them?) Being that the offset of the rims is +40 (can anyone confirm that for genuine 19x8 ROH Fury's??), I have a max of 125mm between guard and middle of the tyre/rim - making 245's viable to fit? Have I got these calc's right? Hate to go out and buy tyres that aren't gonna fit. Anyone running similar rim width, offset, tyre size? any probs with fouling on the front?

Yes they will fit with a bit of mucking around with guards and panhard rod, however 235s look a lot better on 8" rims HSV 19s are 48p so these will stick out 8mm more

Isnt the more offset, the further IN the rim? ie +40 will stick out more than +48? Agree on 235's being the best choice - just found a good deal for some 245's and wondering if i'm gonna have troubles with a +40 offset 19x8 rims. Any idea on the front? will 245 wide tyres foul any of the suspension components?

Maybe I wasn't clear enough Your new rims will stick out 8mm more than factory HSV rims Don't know about the fronts because I had coilovers. I personally wouldn't go 245s on the front though, you'll have issues with the inner gaurds (depending on how low your car is) How about buying new 235s for the front and keeping the 245s for when the rears run out? Heres 255/35R19s on 19x8 48p. Your rims will stick out 8mm more, but your tyres will sit in 5mm. So yours will extent an extra 3mm more than my old ones. It'll be tight, but it's doable Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Thanks for that NZ exactly the info i need. Looks like I will pass up the set of 245's and find some 235/35's instead to make sure they fit with plenty of room and don't scrub on the front. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
