go to avo. have a talk to them, look at their product, look at their workshop and the cars there. see what you think. in the end its where you feel most comfortable leaving your car. i would be happy with either jdc or avo because they are both respectable and trustworthy workshops that have a lot of experience with vls. great that some place has the fastest ve going around but have they been building rbs for over a decade? also look at what you want done and the cosmetics that any shop offers. i personally think avo's coolers look hideous but i love some of their other gear. jdc is a site sponsor here and is an amazing fabricator. i have wasted his time on a few occasions and once my vlc is gone and i have cash sitting around i have decided where i will be spending it. i would also happily leave my vl at avo as i believe from what i have sen that they do quality work on quality vehicles.

thanks for the reply S1roller, who is the man to see at avo? do they have a website? looks like the place to go if they have been doing vl's for a while and know what they are doing? Another factor is that its close to my place aswell. Where in Moorabbin are they? cheers bud.

Give me 5k and I'll get u more than 250rwkw and it'll last Seriously, all you need if you have a half decent turbo engine. 1147c cam and lifters. GT35 .82 rear - standard exhaust manifold link computer - plugin 363 injectors - standard rail 3" exhaust hybrid dirty mongolian cooler - it'll do the job, + a set of pipes. standard inlet- standard bottom end The whatever gearbox ur using, decent clutch for a MX7 or a $1200 rebuild for the jatco. If u had a decent box that above combo would go 125mph easily, with room for more later. If u shop around I know u can buy this for under $5k, a GT35 was selling on here for under 1k, a gate can be found cheap as these days, link computer installed and tuned is around $1,200. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Cheers Morgz, the 1147c cam, how does that compare to this cam: * 212/224 at .050" * Intake Lift .325" (.520" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio) * Exhaust Lift .335" (.536" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio) * 116 Lobe Separation ? would it be bigger than this cam or smaller? Do you have a workshop? would the 1147c be a stage 1 or stage 2 or stage 3 cam? thanks

Hey bloke, Im not sure how the specs compare but I think I have the Wade ones written down somewhere. I think most shops refer to it as a stage 3, as far as I know it's lumpier than the TX2 cam. Nar I'm not a mechanic or a tradie - I use JPC for all my RB needs and info.
