My VL became a waste of time so I got a newy. VL SL Formula, Factory 5-speed, has been owned by my mum since it was 2 years old so its very dear to me, no dodgie crap being done to this one. Already has extractors and exhaust but not loud enough. Plans are replace bodykit wif LE rear bar extention, Claias skirts and moulds and Formula front bar extention, once i find one, and my calais front and tail light moulds colour coded. Put my electric windows and mirrors in it and my interior including rear and quarter venetians. My exhaust from cat back and my 17s Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

wow so your mum had it since two years old? good work I guess that's one bonus; knowing the complete history of vehicle (or it could be a bad thing) hopefully she made the right choice in passing it down to you, any plans engine wise?

Yea its good, bit i wish she still had the starndard front bar extention for it I'm on my P's so jus gettin a twin throttle body manifold made up for it, nothing major just yet Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

with the calais taillight moulds and bootmoulds in white will look similair to the vl director. brocky's last hurrah. you could also do up some taillights like the director. i recon the standard front and rear bars with the formula extensions and like you said the calais skirts. does it have the headrest inserts? damn that just looks so clean, normally the mirrors and that start flaking and the headlights look almost new as do the taillights. sweet car.

I was thinkin of gettin some tail lights and doin that. Headrest inserts are there and in good condition and im gonna get the elec mirrors painted the same to keep the theme. Thanks 4sakenvl I'm thinkin of goin the director look with the tail lights seeing im going to have the calais tail light moulds in white. Just need a donor pair of tail lights in good condition

hey man, cars looking good, director lights would be good.... i reckon take off the tint though, will make the venetians look more white to keep with your theme

yeah was thinking about also because the tint is old and has turned a purply colour. I'm gonna be selling the rear bar soon so if anyones interested let me know
