Hey guys, im about to get my P's in a month. When i braught my n/a the guy chucked in another VL head with it. This is all he told me about it: The head has been ported n polished,new*inlet*& exhaust valves,*cam and a set of new lifters. My questions are how much difference in terms of power would this make if i put it on, how much would it cost roughly for a good mechanic to fit it and also is there any other things i would have to do along with it e.g upgrade the chip etc. Pretty much i want to make the car a bit faster but being 17 dont have heaps of cash to throw at it.

wouldnt be worth the money to put it on mate best thing you can do is invest in some extractors an exaust and put the head on when your head gasket or head cracks wich no doubt will happen

yeh cant keep count on how many times ive heard the head has a cam and is ported only to find some one with sand paper roughend the ports up and classed it as a port job lol and with cams its the same pull em out infront of em and there stock... invest in an exaust first off if it doesnt have one thats about all you can do untill you wanna throw money at it and honestly its the best power gain as a first step dont go to big either just get extractors and a nice 2.5 inch exaust.... good luck with it dude
Yeah its already got 2.5" exhaust and pacemaker extractors. So what you guys dont reckon it will make a difference even if actually has ben ported and polished etc
