just thought id see where everyone takes their car, VL or not and find out where to go and where not to go. then compile a list of all the recomended places for each aspect of a car. eg: engine: autotech, hume transmission: diff: paint/pannel: gloss refinishers, qbn electrics: lee & thomas, philip suspension: inline, qbn rego inspections/ checks: theyre mine, can add aswell.

Yeah my daily went over DMB, had a few issues but it really wasnt a tidy VL. My other VL i chose to take it to Layon Service centre. Heard good things, They passed me no troubles. And it has some work done... I was bout to post a thread in the ACT sect. regarding repair places. I am looking for someone to change my cam\crank seal. I work out in mitchell and there are plenty of VLs kickin out there. Anyone recommend any Shops in mitchell, Bar Jakes, as it really inst a performance VL yet?? I used to panel beat for Jason at Capital Collision, Good guys. Really nice Booth. Cheers Guys

yeah i've been told lanyon is the best place to go for a rwc also, rolla has now failed at both goodyear and jax, complety different things and none related at all from both places lol. so going to lanyon cause as far as i can tell it should pass. just some places are being far to picky. well spose jax and goodyear didnt really like helping someone from bobjane out lol.

i'm only taking mine to lanyon for the fact it was suggested to me and going to tyre dealerships when i work at one of there competitors does not seem to be a good idea lol.

Duke57TT: Fair call buddy. sorry Lanyon is good. My VL is roadworthy. I dont think they will pass anything that isn't roadworthy So can anyone recommend anywhere.???????????? Theres a 4WD place in Mitchell. Huddart ct i think. Workshop backs onto Brooks ST. Theres always a heap of VLs getting work done there. Any one know this place or have been there..

I get most of my stuff done which i can't be bothered to do at National Automotive. They have a fair bit of experience with alot of different cars and do everything from servicing to custom whatever you want.

Cheers Guys, I'll try these guys at AboveBoard. I do most of the work myself also, but Harmonic balancers and Crank gears can be shafted without a puller. This is why i dont want some random pulling my car apart. Some1 with a bit of RB30 knowledge would help. Cheers again
