Hey my new motor and gearbox was stolen between 7pm on the 10/1/09 and 9am on the 11/1/09. The motor is a RB30ET and has forged pistons, shot peened rods, all balanced. Head has been mildy ported, heavy duty valve springs, machined lifter blocks and a JPC stage 2 cam. The gearbox is a VL turbo manual box. Also stolen was a VL turbo brake booster and master cylinder, a tailshaft to suit a vl turbo manual gearbox, a standard low mount exhaust manifold with a flange for a 48mm turbosmart wastegate, clutch master and slave cylinder. A substantial reward will be given for the recovery of motor and gearbox. Thanks

where was it stolen from? where were you at the time of the incident?

Stolen from my shed in Georgetown, Tasmania. I was at home in bed when they stole it. Neighbors didn't see or hear anything. Didn't record the engine number but honestly who would be dumb enough to steal something like this and not change the number. There are only a couple of close friends that knew I had it. Im just glad I didn't have the manifold and turbo on it!

ud be supprised how dumb criminals can be. could even be someone associated with whoever built the motor, or who u got the motor off, id still report the block number, if u havent written it down, track down the car it came out of, note the details and go to ur transport/rego place and they should be able to tell ya the details. tell the cops EVERY LITTLE DETAIL, like colour of the block, any scratches, exact mods. etc they hate theves as much as us. sometimes stolen **** gets recovered, even if its a few years from now, u may get a copper on ya door step sayin theyve found it, or someones tries registering a car with that engine number. if u want my advice, report it. i wouldnt even hesitate.

If cops hate theives so much why did they take 3 hours to get to my house to take a report? I have given them as much info as i cant think of. I have told them where and who i suspect to have the motor and still nothing.

They probably took that long because rushing there in 4 minutes wouldnt have got your engine back and there may have been a more urgent matter which required immediate attention. Hope you get the stuff back!

***en hate when **** like this happens. Not long ago some **** stole a lawn mower from my house. Their are some sad people out there Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The guys have come back for another go, but broke into my house through the back door this time. They took a cometic head gasket, 550cc injectors and fuel rail, xbox, riding gear, a sidchrome tool box, npc clutch. Broke a heap of my stuff aswell like my computer, dvd player, smashed eggs on the walls and emptied the contents of my fridge on the floor. IM GOING TO GET YOU YOU LITTLE ****S

wow its got to be someone who knows you for sure. they even had time to egg the house. it looks like the only thing left is manifold and turbo and they got themselves a pretty decent set-up. hope you catch those c*nts
