Hi All,
Ive been looking into turbo recently and have been finding a few people recommending Airwerks turbo's by Borg Waner.
They seem to be a good unit as there used in many Drag cars in the USA and Purtorico, sorry dont know how 2 spell it.
Here is the link to Airwerks turbo

Another link i found of a turbo builder that supplies Garret, Airwerks and Master power and on his website u will see he built many turbos to some serious drag cars all over the world. Check it out
Has a mad track when u visit the website too

They sell them by the hundred in the states. Specially the S400 75mm and 80mm. I have an 80mm t6 version I bought to put on my Monaro but would of made more power than i wanted for that car. I paid $950 Aus plus freight for it when the dollar was up around $0.90. I know theres another 80mm version going on a XR8 in Sydney.
What model XR8 is it?
Apparently there really popular in the states and make good numbers and being a good reliable turbo.
Looks like there physical size is bigger to comparable models in other brands?

Not sure what model. I think it one of the first models. You can get all different sizes but its only worth importing one from the S400 series as they sell that many of them that they sell for good prices. It cost me $220 US for air freight. The one in the picture has a 1.32 T6 exhaust housing.
LOL yeh i know
Only chassing 350-400rwhp as its proven realiable hp according to all the turbo mastangs in the states.
Once i have that then ill be looking to go DART 363ci with 205AFR heads

Lol. You will double and just about triple that with an S400 series turbo. The 80mm version has seen 1177rwhp on a 377 chev on E85 and the 75mm just under a thousand.

Depends on the exhaust housing doesn't it. You can get them with T4 0.86housing for a little extra or I had a choice of 1.00 or 1.32 in the T6 housing. He does want to go 363 cubes so won't take much to spool.
Well i was recommended a S400sx from GCG turbo with a T4 rear housing and it wont be so laggy. Im wanting to come on boost about 2500rpm with a c4 3000rpm converter and 3.7 diff gears so it should be alright.
Anyway back to Topic.
yeh fair enuf but all im sayin is for the same money you could get a 35/40 and get same results with better driveability and less lag or even a to4z for that matter
The borgwarner your talking about will just about start boosting from idle. Heres a video of a mustang. It has a 400 windsor with a S400 75mm but has a 1.00 t6 rear. It starts boosting a little after 2000rpm and It shows just how driveable they are even with the t6 rear.

Is it really a 400 windsor??? Didnt see anything about engine specs???
They are well priced for what they are and im starting to find that a couple workshops in Sydney are starting to use them. They also have a good reputation when u do a search.
