Hey Guys, I am after the Rack and Rod from a VL. Mine broke so I gotta turn my car off with my finger. I'm scared to leave my car parked in the driveway thinking someone might steal it. If anyone has the part I need or a complete steering column I am willing to buy it. Just DONT try remove it yourself or you could snap the piece I need. Hope these pictures help. "That isn't my one as on mine the circle clip at the end is broken. That is the bit I need. It sits inside the top of the steering column and when you turn the key it is pushed forwards which pushes a metal pin that starts your car. This all works fine in my car but when I turn the key off since my clip is broken it doesn't pull the pin back. I REALLY need this bit and someone MUST have a steering column just sitting around. Willing to pay about $50 for a steering column and I will pay whatever the postage is to. Regards, Adam Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
