I started this thread because questions were filling up Mike's Calais BBQ thread... For a list of Low Volume Vehicle Certifiers CLICK HERE (http://www.lvvta.org.nz/LVV%20Certifier%20List.pdf) Mark Stokes in Auckland has done a few of my cars and is a very reasonable guy highly recommended

Your plenum might get listed on the induction part, but I don't think so. The hole is ok and won't get listed on the cert Mine was certed when it had only 1 muffler and was quite a bit louder than when any of you guys saw my car. I don't think Mark Stokes will mind if it's louder than WOF standards, but things may have changed. It's easy enough to add another muffler if he asks you to quiet it down anyway

Yep ones brake lights and tail lights....and the other red ones are indicators....perfectly legal the cert man said they are LED's only thing he has to do with them is put a resistor in the power feed to slow down the flashing speed for the indicators Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

those tail lights would've looked abit better if they were flush with the bumper to go with the whole smoothed/shaved theme but I agree takes heaps of work and vision to do this to any vehicle

dont shag about putting resistors in the indicator circuit, just replace the flasher relay with an electronic one, it will always flash at the perfect speed no matter what the indicators lights are up to.

i didnt put resistors in i replaced the old indercator with the bulb, just put the bulb back in. it slowed it down, cert guy told me to do it lol. i tryd to get the tail lights flush but i couldnt as the bumper is curver ALOT and the leds are straight. all painted now going to sell it and get bt1 on the road hehe Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Can anyone tell me if it's ok to relocate the battery to the boot area of a wagon i'm guessing I'd have to box it, seal it and vent it to the outside
