Ok here goes, I bought this car in june i think, Stock as apart from an alpine cassette player, pioneer 7inch rear speakers, dual fuel and a 2.5 inch exhuast. I payed $3k for it, but i didnt no if it ran on gas properly, i got it home and it was fine on gas once i put some in it. but it wouldnt run on fuel properly, turned out a faulty gas plate thing under the air clearer was starving it of air. Went for a roady and required was 4 new tyres, windscreen repair, and fix a loose indicator stalk. I got it regoed and 4 days later i discovered that i had about 3 broken piston rings to deal with, so i decided to rebuild the engine.. The motor was in pretty good condition as the crank only needed a +10/+10 and a +20 over bore, but the heads needed some attention as the car was coverted to gas in early '92. At the time of the rebuild process i serviced my trimatic and tryed to clean up my engine bay. Along with the rebuild i got a cam and lifters upgrade aswell as some acl flat tops. Whilst running the new engine in i didnt want to running it on lpg, i ended up removing the dual fuel set up as fuel economy was good because i had a 2.78 diff gear ratio. The stereo is pretty simple consisting of a pioneer headunit, 4inch kevlar cone pioneer front speakers, 7inch rear pioneer speakers and a 600w pioneer amp. The interior is blue and was super clean when i first got it, but i cut holes in the front doors but got over the speakers so ill have to track down some door trims. I've now debadged it, and removed that fugly number plate light and towing gear. ill finish this thread when i can be bothered lol cheers thanks for your time matt Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
