My grandfather's 1987 VL Commdore, in extremely good original condition for it's age. Does have a few dents and scrapes, but nothing major. Interior is in very good condition, though the drivers seat, predictably, is torn on the side bolsters. Car has the original spare tyre, original Gregory's manual, hoses and belts from 1987 (wouldn't use them, but they're original ), and a t-bar locking device my grandfather made.
Car runs very well, is pretty economical, very smooth. Has aftermarket cruise control that doesn't work, never bothered to fix it. All the components are there, just needs to be inspected.
The colour is factory, was originally specified as a Bob Jane T-Marts car that was sold as surplus, so it's fairly unique in that regard.
Good bits
- 4 x new Sava Intensa 215/R14
- new windscreen
- 10 months rego
- unmodified
- original owners manual, even have the advert from the 1988 newspaper the car was advertised in.
- NO RUST
Bad
- Drivers seat side bolster is torn
- Needs new plugs/leads etc, hasn't been driven much. Still runs smoothly though, despite 100k old plugs/leads.
- Needs a good polish
- Front bumper is cracked/faded
RWC is negotiable, please contact Rob via PM or on [phone removed].
The brown stuff you can see on the steering column is glue - my grandfather stuck some carpet (yes.. carpet from his bedroom no less) there to stop the keys hitting the plastic.

Forgot to mention, vehicle has a towbar and airconditioning.
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
