Ok , seems almost everwhere i go i see VY's or VZ's or VE's with Chev badges (not picking on this car in particullar just an example) If this is the case, why dont more people put Nissan badges on their VL's and Isuzu badges on their geminis??? jus a personal opinion, I dont really like it, what do yous think??? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I think it's a wank thing personally, even the cops around here are doing it on the SS's. If I could afford a GENIII/IV I wouldn't put the Chev badges on. The car isn't a Chev, the motor is, so put the badge on the engine cover if you need to have one. Funniest thing I've seen is a VZ SV6 with a bowtie badge on the bootlid, just under the SV6 badge, LOL.

Was driving behind a very nice looking black Statesman yesterday, not sure what model but was a GENIII or later powered one. Smack bang in the middle of the bootlid was a Chev badge, spoilt the whole car IMO.

It's bad enough when LSx powered Holden's have Chev badges... but how about an SV6 with Chev badges... http://calaisturbo.com.au/showthread...V6#post1844712 (http://calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?p=1844712&highlight=SV6#post1844712) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Nice car bar the badges and white walls, don't like them personally.

The car isnt a Chev, merely Chev powered. Personally I dont see the attraction is promoting a car as something it isnt. If it was the full G8 spec with matching body changes then I'd understand.

ive seen vt 6s with chev badges!!a guy from work has a vy 6 ute, with a maloo, tonnaeu, ss rear bumper. and a chev badge, its so tragic lol it is the biggest wnk factor ive ever seen, people shouldnt pretend there car is something its not.

personally i think its done on the front grille of the ve's because the stock holden badge is the size of a dinner plate, and looks like absolute crap. like anything else it'll look ok as long as its done tastefully... which most of them unfortunately aren't.

^^^ true the VE grille badge is massive... surely someone makes an aftermarket grille without any badge?

Lots of older cars change thier badges to chev ones (350 engine etc). Personally I hate it. Later model commodores shouldnt have them either. Forget what they are - THEY LOOK LIKE CRAP!. Your car isnt a chevrolet so why put those badges on... its a holden. I bet the yanks dont put holden badges on thier pontiacs!

You guys do realise all LSx engines actually are NOT chev's??? Technically, they're made by GM, not the GMC sub devision, They come out in chev's yes, they also come in other GM brands. Strictly speaking, the LSx is no more a chev engine than it is a holden engine.
