I needed a work hack for the dirt roads at work so bought a cheapy, squirted some grey on the bars n moulds, added some SL/E rims and mudflaps, slit and re-glued the steering wheel and painted it. I rebuilt the T bar with solder and glue and had the box serviced, then added a small cooler from a wrecker. I couldnt stand the SL interior, so I added a berlina cassette deck. sunglass holder and console arm rest, looking forward to driving a VL daily again. Thanks for the parts boys. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

you added a berlina tape deck? why? also love the rims and the small improvements you have done she looks like a good work hack. actually looks relatively clean!

The berlina radio keeps it factory and was cheap, I just fixed the rust around the screen so she is ready for rego.
