Vr series 2 Wagon.
L67 engine conversion, vp auto conversion
Engine was built by yours truly with the following mods
Head
Ported, polished, crow heavy duty valve springs, new crow valves, retainers and collets. Cometic head gaskets standard rockers and pushrods for now.
Block
Bored .020. Decked..
Forged ARIA pistons, standard crank and rods, Crow custom ground cam, Slightly large then there stage 3 blower cam. ARP rod bolts, King bearings all through it.
Blower
FIT fast change boost pully 84mm boosting at 13psi. (84mm = 17psi on standard engine), MACE engineering W2A intercooler kit - nice and stealth
Fuel managment
Big boshe fuel pump and a carter lift pump. carter primes my surge tank which feeds boshe which flows to the standard fuel rail and supposide TO LARGE injectors which i believe are standard.. go figure.
All powered by a wolf3d ver4 engine managment system. Tuned at this stage by chapmans.
Transmission is a full built box also. Older hydraulic box from a vp. Stage 2 shift, corvette servos, etc etc.. 2800 stall.
Diff is a "tight" LSD... go figure again.. with 3.9 diff gears
Moving on from the engine. Interior had a full trim. Standard seats that have been winged and covered with velour and what not.
Stereo is a pioneer head unit, PG sub, focal splits in front. Nothing to special.YAY!! all my roof rattles are gone now. Good old sikaflex!
lowered on ultra lows i believe all way round.. No there are no cut springs in it. and rolling on my 19' BBOSS elanors
Pulled 274.6hp at the wheels with 2200ft/p torque on chapmans dyno. Not to happy with the tune though and there is alot more in it when i can get someone who knows how to tune these cars.
Future mods: Getting tuned again on the 21st of jan by torque and tune caloundra. Boost will be uped a bit. Bit of porting work done and a ls1 throttle body. Maybe a couple of other little things. Depanding on time and funds.
