Any difference in VN to VR V8 (auto) tranny's? I don't think there is. Can a non-IRS diff fit into a VR Calais 304 with IRS? I don't think it can either. Just need definite answers. Cheers.

not sure bout the tranny. but with the diff no u cant fit it and also u have to take ABS into consideration. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

autos are different. VR is electriconically controlled

The centres of the diffs are interchangable. The gearbox's aren't due to cable/electronic throttle pressure valves. I am not sure if you change the cradle, does it have the mounts for a live axle diff?
