Whilst on the subject of badges (thought I'd ask here rather than start a new thread), does anyone know the actual position of the "calais" and bullet badges for the front guards. I mean how far in from the edge of the guard and how far up from the plastic mould. From what I've seen in a few pics there seems to be a difference between the early and later models, I refuse to use the terms seris 1 and 2 as they never existed. My calais is an '86 model and I have the badges to refit, just wanted to know where to put them. I have searched and there's a couple of threads but nothing too definitive, just rough guesses.

It suck's that Holden didn't put the pin's on all the badge's throughout the VL range.
Now you see alot of VL's with badge's stuck back on that look wonky.

Well nothing of too much help showed up when I did a search on "calais badge positions", only thread was one where soemone had done rough measurements, and it looked to be a later model as the badges were closer to the plastic mould.

02-11-08, 15:42 GMT+10#16 The 5.0 badge looks great on the boot of a stocker Calais does it not? Still very classy in '08.

Or can anyone do a quick measurement of their 5.0 badge as im having something 3d printed to match the 5.0 badge and want it to be accurate
Cheers
