saw a red shop with no signs on it on macdonnell rd, clontarf today, it had a blue calais with lightning over the front and a black skyline out the front so i wandered in to see what the go was and he reckons he pulled the signs off cause he gets enough work from word of mouth and even claims to have fixed other big name shops f*&k ups.. can anybody else here vouch for his work at all ? preferably first hand (no my mates cousins auntys uncle went and got his 1000hp gtr rebuilt there crap) might save me some hassle in the future thanks
trades as "all dyno tuning"

mmmmmm
another shop with a dyno and doing what they think is best....
1st thing is 1st, you should never bag other businesses in business, only give's you a bad name in the 1st place.
What did they say they specailise in??
The name rings a bell, however cant be sure if its good or bad.
Although, a shop that doesnt have a sign up to say what the business name is..... sounds.... hmmm.. gotta wonder why they don't want to advertise thier business... Many many thousands of other businesses still display thier shop names even though they are busy with "word of mouth" customers.
my thoughts exactly.. anybody knows whos vl was there? it was pretty distinct... blue over silver calais deep dish chromies cream leather retrimmed late model commo seats and i didnt see under the hood but apparently it had a 26/30 with autronic and 1000hp turbo - didnt have any plates on it
isnt temper purple ?
maybe the bloke owns the shop.... but doesnt run like an everyday business... just works with known customers when needed...
I know if i had a 'performance' workshop and i was doin oil changes on ****boxs i'd probably wanna ditch the signs too.. but on here man its all speculation... could be all sorts of reasons why its not advertised. hopefully not for dodgey reasons..

I thought in QLD it was a legal requirement to display your registered operating name, in a obvious/visible location at the place of business, even so if you run a business from home ???

TP Automotive Engineering Pty Ltd - Taren Pembrey
ADT - All Dyno Tuning - is his dyno tuning side of the business
he has some nice cars there all the time and quite a few VLT's being worked on from time to time.
he has some new signs made up but hasn't put them up yet as he has quite a lot of work to keep him busy as he does a lot of LPG conversions and only a small worksite to store cars atm.
i'm tempted to try him out on my car to see what he's like, i got a few friends that know him personally and get minor things done by him, he used to work for Queensland Dyno till it shut down, so he opened his own business, uses that latest technology in Dyno Dynamics Dynos, full wireless latest model dyno. i entered a dyno comp there last year in my vn sv3800 (146 rwhp) and came 2nd to magna (180rwhp). would be nice to get all my work done locally.
my thoughts exactly on the local idea - beats trailering my car to burleigh heads ! if you do try him let me know

Ok boy's, im not putting this guy down by anymean's, but i have to show you ALL something that i saw today on josh's VL, (TEMPER) the car above that is FCUKING disgraceful.
Here are the pic's so you can see what i mean as i explain.
Ok,josh the new owner of this car, local guy like some of you, took it in to be tuned, and fix the exhaust manifold as it was craked.
Nothing wrong with anything else on the car.
What he got was this :
See for yourself.
The turbo on it was 100% fine, but becoz it was so big and the wheels so heavy, it's didnt spin while the engine was on idol, so he told josh he was up for a new turbo, and would need a new wastegate and of course manifold.
This is what josh recieved.
A turbo that is so big it wouldnt even make BOOST, its a turbo to fit a 12litre truck with a T5, that's right a T5 flange.
Fitted onto a EBAY manifold that is T03 that has an adapta from t03, custom made to fit, also the turbo dump is, well i wont go there.
Now to sum this whole thing up, the turbo didnt fit under the bonnet, so what did he do...
HE TOOK OUT THE ENGINE MOUNT BOLT'S, DRILLED "TWO" YEP TWO NEW HOLES NOT 4, AND ANGELED THE ENGINE DOWN TO FIT.
This also putting so much load on the transmission's mount's have split the rubber and heaven know's what could have done if josh was to drive it on the st.
Also that's his catch can, josh said make this catch can fit and hide it......
Here are the picture's.
I'am sure if josh was a memeber of CT, which soon he will be he will post up more about it.
I went from brisbane to cabulture today to tow him to the dyno at EFI PERFORMANE only to see all this, car never saw the dyno but it is in good hand's now.
