Whats the fastest LPG car in the world? Full chassis race cars included. cant seem to find much info.

i couldnt imagine someone building a full chassis race car and run it on lpg lol it would have to be a street car, but yer would be pretty cool to see how far someones gone with lpg

GASDUP 8.74 159 mph. Pretty impressive to say the least.

there was a rotary datsun ute from WA a fair fair few years back now that run into the 9's also as far as im aware? i dont know the specifics of it, but i know it was definately quick!

I know the profire guys have got a Dodge Challenger over in WA that is a genuine 1000kw on vapour injection. Profire ECU 16 injectors, 3 regulators and it hits a decent RPM too, but the torque is out of this world. It is a twin turboed big block. But I don't think it'd hook up too good so qtr's would be slow. The quickest I know of is the XE too. Haven't heard of anything quicker yet.

Yeah theres always bigger fish thats for sure.. but in Aus, Im sure Jasons cars would be up there. My old mechanic had a really nice WB? Caprice.. 8/71 on a 454 with twin 440CFM GRA throttle bodies and quad b2 convertors, I recon it would of run a decent time (high 10) if it hooked up.

Just converting to gas doesnt mean it will be epa proof. You still have to get it gas complianced. Not an easy task.

lol at everyone thinking your car is epa proof once u convert to lpg the only thing that u can get away without having at the epa is charcoal canister everything else has to be standard, i got done by the epa and everything had to go back, no afm in piping, standard airbox back on, no boost tap, standard exhaust had to be put on and i was lucky my car was relatively standard if u wanna convert ur car to gas just to get out of trouble with the cops and epa dont bother coz it doesnt mean sh1t
