Hey everyone I just recently got a VL in august. I have looked around various forums and Vl groups and what not, I found this one so I decided to post a few pictures up. Here Goes Features It has a stock 5l engine auto trans Extractors, Two Half inch exhaust with a 3" tip 17" rims The springs have also been chopped (this was done by the guy I got it from) 3 Clarion Amps in the back. 12" pioneer sub, 4 speakers in the back 2 pioneer 2 Orion. 2 pioneer speakers in front with 2 tweeters Replaced the stock steering wheel, I dont have that Woodgrain one anymore either threw that way soon as i could. Il have to update the picture of the new one when i get some time. Has a really really bloody dark tint on it, still legal but makes night driving fun . Future Plans I plan on replacing the stock air filter with a bolt on k&N one and replacing\ the springs so that it doesn't scrape the **** out of the wheels when people are in the back or going around a corner to fast. Maybe add a body kit and hood scoop. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey haven't updated this in awhile, just listing a few more things that I have done over time, Replaced The stock airfilter/cleaner Added seat covers, Changed the Steering wheel, Bought Calais Pop Ups (gotta paint and fit them) Wired up a LED In the Boot Put the tip on the muffler back, Current plans are to maybe add a walkinshaw hood, and one of the front spoiler kits, but still unsure really, And later down the track im thinking of dropping either a ls1 or ls2 in. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Cheers for the comments guys justfkmat i got it of ebay suprisingly it had paint on it already so had to sand it back and get it painted, the letterbox grill is actually pretty fun to fit, bit of frustration but its good, Lebvlt, yeah that sounds good its my plan do do her up abit, just all about $$$ though, i guess for the same amount of money i could spend on the old school set up i could get a ls1/2. Il be deleting that calais badge to when it gets painted, so if anyone wants it give us a yell,

Looking good, nice to see another VL 8 getting around still. Lucky for you it's got headers already. Mine didn't, and what a pain to to fit them, especially on my own. Well worth it but, sounds heaps better.

Yeah could be a consideration, im still learning about the vl only got it in august, like if you want to know how to make rockets and smoke bombs and all that cool stuff i can help. but still learning with the cars, but its a good journey none the less, so would that cam belt drive and gear drive help with adding a little more kw? . Yeah btw mat, keep looking around now and then a few pop up just takes awhile, but ive seen a few now days. good luck!

looking good man!!! It looks fairly straight too.... Should go well with the injected 5 Oh in it... Dont forget how light VL's are... you dont need tonnes of power to make them go and the 8 will have a bucket load of torque with some minor head and cam work!
