From what i have heard bout these so called 'Chips' They are dodge. They apparently just **** with your temp sensor, making the engine think its cold so it dumps more fuel?? Correct me if im wrong but that would prob cause some sensor damage over time. (O2 sensor maybe???) Better off spending the coin on scotch.

hey mate, i had a stage 2 chip tha i got off ebay and i do think that it definately made a difference in power but only from what i felt i never dynod it im pretty sure these do just activate cold startup settings which pump more fuel, but as its a factory setting i cant imagine it would harm the engine at all anyway to sum it up i had one it worked would buy again although i bought off a different person

well with all respect mate i had one and you didnt so although i might not have dyno proof that it works i did notice a difference in low end torque and from what i gathered from your post you have no experience with them so keep a lid on it too many know it alls on ct

I suppose you never know what has been done but you would think they would quote a power increase to say 114- 120kw, I would prefer to find a proven supplier. So who does sell known chips for the RB30?

So who does sell known chips for the RB30? Over the counter proper chips can be sourced from Powerchip. However I think at last check they were like $800 Theres a bloke called Matt who is in partnership with another tuner, they have a business called Nistune (www.nistune.com) (http://www.nistune.com)), who make plug in boards that enable full access to the ecu. give him a bell and he can set you up with something. probably around $200-$400 (dont quote me).
