first lets start from the top have done a few vls and this is the one im keeping (till i pick it up from the insurence yard for one reson or another) but i bought this limeted edition (one of 600) seires 200 12 months ago of this old dude imaculate with 144 000ks on the clock for $2500 with a full sixer of reg and by imaculate i mean this things got bolts screws and srew caps that i didnt know were in vls and not one bit of rust like this things been looked after better than my mates real walki but even a walki never had 2 pac from the factory some how they felt the need to paint a sh@#@ gold over beige one in it yes factory 2pac how many vl owners can say that (well 600 can if there all still around) but enough rambleing iv been converting this thing to turbo for 8 months useing only brand new parts nothing from the wreckers nothing of a mate thats been sitting in a shed for 3 years just new stuff with warrentys and it wont be started till its right and wont get off the dyno till its good for at least a ten and in 8 months i have been thru 3 diff intake manifolds,3 diff turbos ,3 diff turbo manifolds and on my second reg and i havent started the car since i put the microtech in 6 months ago just keep up grading but here is how it started with some pics
bog stock the day i picked it up had the imaculate 15 inch turbo hubs wraped up in the boot next to the unused original spare (still have unused)
with one realy realy clean interior all seires 200 interiors used calais metireal on berlina base with electrics
now the fun bit first off to start the turbo conversion got a microtech ltx12s six coils and microtech turbo timer
and rewired the whole front of the car hid all the wireing moved the relays and fuses to the glove box installed calais front on and hid all relays and wireing and just made it easy to work on and cleaned it all up not that u can realy tell yet prob
have run microtech loom behind motor out of site
head lights go down here now (still have to cover)and pop up behind head light calais popups wires here too and the other sides the same with the horn on that side
put in a heep of swiches for allsorts of stuff and lights come on when there on too and the extra light comes on when the microtech turns the thermos on
wiper motor wires go up here now thru the car as dose the washer water and the washer bottle is now a vr vs one mounted in the gard with a vt vx radiator over flow bottle in the other gard (so no washer bottle on strut tower)
all the wire i have pulled out of this thing plus a bit more and used brand new plugs and wire every were i can
mains power now comes from the battery to the distabution block on the left with digital volt read out here and on the battery cable is 2 gadge all power back in to the car is fused here also the alt starter and coil power supply is mounted to the un fused side of this block back in to the cab to a isolator swich back out to the curcit breaker (for looks )in to the coil dist block but i think this will have to change when i get msd soon??
coils i mounted here at first as i was going to use a choped up stock plennum(front inlet other welded up)but alot has changed in the last 8 months and have since had to move down lower to accomadate for a sheet metal plennum also thats the old reg
so coils are here now
this is the bay back in feb with the second turbo had a monsta t4 but then sold that and got this cheep new t70 kit
then bought this custom plennum and a surge off toby at tjs race fabrications after probs with choped plennums looks this is plennum 2 choped one number 1
then striped it all out again as u can see here all power steer lines have been redone on braided line so i can make em go were i want
also toby made this custom twin feed rail to sit on top of my new seimens 750cc jectors wich is y i want plennum 3 because his new plennum is better but also haveing a dash 6 line in either end of the rail makes the line tight against the water temp sensor wires and the new plennum i can hide the water tempsensors under the plennum as it is a different design
new plennums with custom runners biger bell mouths and a better mount for rail (this is not my plennum pics toby sent me of another one)
and thats all the pics im alowed so il just wait for sir geo to get this up and finnish my little story of the vl that could (if only it had all its parts)when he dose but lots more parts here and need some advise and all the constructive critisisim you have

ok got my new hot side last month with my 2 044s get all my turbos ect of grant at proboost so first up the new turbo turbo number 3 now vewers turbo number 3 is one of grants t66/t04z hybrid jobbys suck a baby in but yea try this with your 35/40
real nice turbo with a long wrnty i got with 0.68 rear but he has .89 1.08,and1.32 just unbolt the rear and bolt on a bigger or smaller same rear wheel also got a new t4 manifold from him just a cheapy but got a wrnty

and its my fault the rear houseing is rustu as i had the rear houseing a week before the turbo to see if the t3tot4spacer and this would fit under bonnet for the record they do but they look fu@#$ stupid and rear houseing got wet

i was going to run this full aero director kit (as was working for a bodykit shop got it cheep cheep is real hdt but was used as plugs to make a mould so took some work to get it to here but im a panel beater so wasnt hard) and paint it full gold paint but have since changed plan and am now going to run a full hdt calais le kit from the same shop and paint it gold upper and and a matalic beige lower (thinking old mazda 2 champaine) in the seires 200 theme dont know yet see what happens but still have the kit so it may still rear its ugly head

sorry to sound harsh man but it seems like you have found a rare vl in fantastic condition and immediately destroyed it...
if you wanted to do a full build with a kit etc... wouldnt you start with a shell that needed work?!?!?!
sorry man im sure your final product will be great but its a real shame to see another mint stocker gone, there are very few left.

ITS NOT LOST YET MAY STILL BUILD AS A STOCKER HUBYS AND ALL HAVE ALL THE PARTS STILL AND WILL PROB JUST PUT CALAIS FRONT AND REAR ON AND BE DONE WITH IT IM JUST SICK OF FIXING RUST BUCKETS (BEING A PANEL BEATER) AND THESE ARE 2 PAC STOCK SO WAS A NICE ONE TO START WITH IF U ALL THINK INTERIOR AND BODY SHOULD STAY BOG STOCK SAY SO AND IT WILL AERO KIT IS NOT GOING ON AS IT WILL BE TOO SLOW BUT IF U ALL THINK STOCK IT WILL BE STOCK HUBBYS AND ALL POST UP THORTS

screw it at the end of the day its an f-ing berlina with a powerpack and 15" rims. a series 200 isn't that special and lets face it has a poo paint scheme. i however appreciate the uniqueness of a s200 and really like the paint!
even still it started life as a n/a auto with beige highlights.... now its getting a fullhouse engine and an aero kit. i admire your brave enough to go against the grain and i personally love the aero kit its a shame there aren't more in melbourne (and the kits in melbourne tend to be done very badly!) those rear 1/4 surrounds would look awesome with the aero kit!
yes my point a berlina with FACTORY 2 PAC PAINT the only 600 vls to have FACTORY 2 PAC PAINT a walki was still acrilic and when was the next 2PAC holden not hsv tell me
