Hey all Ive been on this forum for a while so i thought its about time i post up about my car that I brought when i was learning to drive I have been modifying it ever since I started out with a bog stock s2 Red VK 202 4spd This was the day i first got it I then proceeded clean it up a little add a stereo\subs autobahn chrome rocker cover, central locking, Dumped it and a basic alarm then i was ready to register it the night before I was due to register it it blew a head gasket [Click image for larger version Name: SVI_0011.JPG Views: 84 Size: 82.5 KB ID: 20232] (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/attachment.php?attachmentid=20232&d=1219668049) Thankfully my mate Daniel was doing his apprenticeship as a Mechanic and helped me replace it! Thanks MATE Anyway Down the track I got sick off the carby 202 and taken ages to start and flat spots so i Converted it To 202 EFI but after doing a few skids it gave up the ghost. I then decided to put in another 202, i brought from greenvk it drove OK after this for about a month then whilst coming home from Phillip island on a 35*c+ day Oil started pissing out of the between the head and the block i thought this to be a head gasket but after replacing it i soon realized it was not the head gasket but a cracked block and ****ed piston So i got fed up with the weak\loud\slow Holden 202 everyone said that were bullet proof but clearly ain't in stock form anyway, so i was looking for other motor options like vn-vr v6 motor i was dead set on doing this conversion as a user Dioxide had written up a good guide on installing one of these into a VK. Then one of my old mates had just crashed his White VL SL. So i brought his engine\wiring loom\dash and some turbo conversion bits he was going to use. Heres a picture of his car and my car before he stacked it Ill do a write up one day on the conversion its relatively straight forward conversion especially if you know someone with welding skills for the Exhaust and gearbox xmember (Thanks, Rob) Out came the oily tired 202 dropped in the rb30 Wired Up and running as NA car unregistered as this stage On went the Turbo t3/t4 On Went the intercooler And high mount setup On goes the Haltech, CPC plenum and change intercooler piping again This is were I'm currently At Big Thanks my work colleges LOL and My mates! I will add more later! Thanks for reading Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Looks great, is it auto or manual? I put an n/a auto VL set up in a VK once and the jatco took heaps stuffing about to work and had to graft a VL speedo into a VK cluster, cost heaps.
