Time has come for me to sell up and I want to upgrade.
Car is an 1987 S1 VL Calais Turbo.
Car is not original turbo however it is original Black Calais.
Interior: Tan coloured S1 Leather which is absolutely mint, Speco boost guage (20psi), all door trims mint apart from the rear left has a tiny cigarette burn (previous owner), carpet mint with no rips. Has a Pioneer head deck mp3, 6" front door speaks in door pods, and 6" speakers in the rear parcel shelf which is unmolested.
Exterior: Black paint which is in really good condition, front bar has marks on it which can only be seen from close up. Brand new front Calais grill, brand new TYC Calais tail lights, Refurbished Calais garnish. Has 18" VY GTS Coppies on it which are in good condition have a few marks on them, with brand new rubber put on a week ago on the front and two brand new tyres not on rims for the rear which will be sold with the car.
Engine: Fully reconditioned head with a slightly bigger grind cam (works well with standard ECU), with reconditioned lifters etc. Steel head gasket. It has a second hand low kilometer s2 N/A bottom end underneath it but it's running slightly higher compression then a A8 motor because of the steel multi layered gasket. All the injectors have been cleaned and flow tested and came up perfect with a bosch 910 fuel pump and a brand new ryco fuel filter and a brand new in tank pump getting fuel to the engine isn't an issue. Turbo is a T3 Hiflo, with a custom 3" air intake with a pod filter, and a front mount intercooler, car has a brand new crank angle sensor inside the dizzy replaced 3 weeks ago and brand new 10mm leads with a full 3" exhaust from turbo back with a 3" straight threw cat and 1 muffler in the system, builds boost really quickly and sounds absolutely tuff, gives that RB rumble
Car made 185rwkw @ 10psi with papers to prove it a few weeks ago on the TafeSA dyno.
Trans: I'm pretty sure its a N/A trans with a 2500 stall. Trans is in great condition and has never slipped on me and provides great smooth instant shifts.
Diff: Rebuilt LSD out of a VL V8, but I changed the diff gears from 3.08's to 3.45's. Diff is great condition.
I have given every bit of information about this car as I can. I may have missed some things so please don't hesitate to call and ask. The car is defected right now but will be selling once it has cleared. Feel free to call and inspect while its defected, just won't be sold until it's cleared
As a bonus I will be giving the buyer *EVERY* spare VL part I have. Things like complete set of polished calais wheels with awesome rubber (passed regency), complete set of stock springs, stock exhaust including a stock cat, stock steering wheel another reo bar, another complete set of calais side skirts another set of old Calais tail lights, list goes on.
Most of the members on this forum will vouch for how much I love this car and selling it is going to tare me apart. Countless hours spent on this car, and money.
Car was serviced last week also.

This car is a true neck snapper, everywhere you drive it people look and stare car loves the attention.
