hey guys im looking to install my head unit coz i miss abit of barnsey while im cruzeing . Im having some trouble finding the power wire inside the cabin, it looks like its been rewired before and now its all a mess, im wondering if i run a dedicated positive wire to the battery back to the head unit with a fuse attached will that be ok or will she go up in flames Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

ah i gave that a shot and no go, i hooked up the ground to the negative on the battery and the power to the positive of the battery with a fuse on it and nothing happened the only thing i can think of is the yellow power cont that is on the poineer harness i don’t know what thats for

the yellow needs constant 12v the red needs it when acc or higher is on,tap off your ign harness not battery
