hey guys. I am looking at putting a RB30ET bottom end together to hold up 400-450rwhp reliably. my biggest concern is oil pump which i have read mixed oppinions on gtr pump, RB30ET pumps and rb25DET pumps. I would like to go for a RB25DET pump does anybody have a picture and maybe some specs on how to identify a Rb25DET pump as i dont want to buy the wrong pump and if anybody know where i can get one from would help also. Also any opinions on pumps for my application. SOHC with single turbo. cheers

Can anybody tell me if the RB25DET oil pump would be better than original RB30ET oil pump for a fresh RB30ET rebuild with power upgrade in mind. SOHC set up GT35 with decent boost up it.

RB30ET oil pump doesn't flow as much or hold as much pressure as RB25DET pump. The RB30ET pump also has a smaller gear drive which means it will be more prone to cracking.

Std pump will be fine. Remember a GT35 needs less oil flow than a std bush bearing t3 turbo. Plenty of people have been there and done that with the std 30et pump!
