I have photos but no webspace to put them up. I'll try explain it and maybe someone else can post a few photos. Its pretty easy to set up. On your rocker cover you will see two hoses. The frount one goes into the inlet manifold and the rear goes into the intake pipe. Catch cans come in different forms. There are some out there that drain back into the sump and the most common are the ones that vent to atmosphere. I have one of the latter. They can be mounted wherever you really like. My first vl turbo i had it mounted in the cradle where the charcoal canister used to sit (just under the brake booster). My latest vlt has it mounted near the airfilter. To set it up. First decide where you want to put it. Then remove the frount hose on the rocker cover. You will be left with a fitting still in the intake manifold. Remove this. You will need to get a bung for it. Take the old fitting down to a thread place and they will be able to match the same thread with a bung. The rear hose remove and plug up the intake just so no foreign material can enter. Then its simply a case of running the hoses from the rocker cover to your catch can which SHOULD have a big filter on it. DO NOT BUY the sealed catch cans which are on ebay. A lot of high performance rb30's have the rocker cover fitting removed and drilled to a larger diameter hole with bigger RIGHT-ANGLED fittings to allow for better engine breathing. There was a guy on here a long time ago who sold right angled fittings in standard size for a neater look. Really comes down to how worked your engine is. IF it is fairly mild i would use the standard breathers in the rocker cover. Hoses to use. They don't have to be anything special. You can use basically any hose you like as long as its the right size. From memory i think i used some powersteering hose from repco with some clamps on either ends. Benefit of a catch can... No oil is going back into the intake which in turn stops detonation, build up on valves, etc. Downsides.. A catch can venting to atmosphere is illegal and will cop a defect if a cop sees it.

ive got mine on the passenger side strut. would of had to be the worest place for it to go but i cant complain, its doing the job. on my plenium i have the side right side of the plenium where theres a breather to the engine, thats blocked off. i have 1 tube from the top that plunges next to the gearbox/atmosphere and the other to the catch can. just waiting for new pipes to cum so both breathes plundge into catch can. hope that made sense? lol ill upload a pic later or post a pic of the bay and ill draw u wat it looks like lol
