Hey guys, My housemate just bought a dual fuel VS 3.8L, and the gas system just got tuned. Apparently, the mixer is a bit noisy (this is what he has told me, I've yet to check it out). I know SFA about gas, but plenty about cars, so does anyone have any ideas as to what it might be (if it does turn out to be the mixer)? Any positive feedback from you BBQ lovers will be much appreciated. Cheers, Tim Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Update: now it occasionally stalls on gas. When this happens, it also won't start on petrol, so it is probably something else. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey, have any of you guys had the engine light come on when on gas in an Ecotec? Mine does this on gas, then it goes away if I switch to petrol. What does it mean?

Probably a wiring fault in your gas setup. We replaced the CAS on the VS, fixed all the starting issues with the petrol side, but still stalls and won't start on gas. Guess that narrows it down to gas mixer or gas ECU?
