hey guys finally got my car running again. But for some reason it wont rev past 2k. It misses as soon as you touch the accelerator and then it sounds like its on rev limiter at 2k any ideas as to what can cause this? Im going to change the air flow meter but is there anything else i should try?

when u unplug the afm that 2k limiter comes in. so its not working properly if its doing it while its plugged in. it does it because its not sensing any air flow... so it goes into a limp mode so to speak just incase it leans out and the computer doesnt know. i would put a different one in there first before you rule it out. or better still **** it off and get a microtech ha ha

i had this prob a couple of weeks ago wen i put my bros engine back together all it was was one tooth out on cas, i kept missing the right tooth, also dissconnect the tps sensor and rev the motor and if that helps the engine revs its definately the cas...
