what about timing ? leave everything standard and just getting nissan gaskets? will it be ok to run without a cooler for a couple of weeks

so long as you dont ping or put the engine under load. Just run standard timing 15 degrees and if it pings just take it back a little till it doesnt. Once the cooler is on then play around Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

you only need the one head gasket. But if youre planning to remove the head it'd be advisable to buy the intake and exhaust manifold gaskets and r/cover gasket too..

inlet. head. exhaust.... do yaself a favor and get an adjustable fuel reg. whack it on a dyno and get them to adjust the timing, sparkplug gaps and your af ratio's using the fuel reg and boost controller... and you shouldn't have a problem.... dont just bolt it on and hope for the best, too many idiots do it then cry they blow their motor...

When you run a thicker head gasket with big big boost you run the chance of blowing them out the side even if its a cometic style one. Ask any good engineer, eg pete at applied automotive. He will give you the break down and explain why in most cases its better to use the standard thickness gasket.
