Hey everyone ive been a member here for a while and havnt posted up anthing about my car yet, so i think now would be as good a time as ever. The car is a 1987 VL Executive Turbo, originally an automatic converted to 5spd manual. Ive owned the car since early 2007, picked it up off my ex-girlfreind's cousin for $3500, the engine was a stock highcomp turbo, auto vlt computer and a rising rate malpassi fuel pressure regulator. This is the car when i first picked it up. The car was soon booked into Autotek in Horsham for a full 3" exhaust from the turbo back with a 3"highflow cat and one muffler. I installed a GKtech FMIC a couple days later, the car was going fairly well, i then bought a TurboXs under bonnet boost controller, and run 8psi for everyday driving and 10-12psi for fun. Not long after installing the boost controller the headgasket went. So i bought another standard rb30 and 5spd box, the rb is running high comp bottom end, but using a .8 headshim from acl (not sure what this changes the compression ratio to) and a standard vl turbo headgasket. I also bought a brand new turbo from Advanced Turbo Performance T03/4 with a 1bar actuator arm, 6 new vl turbo injectors, a bosch 044 external fuel pump, also running a heavy duty brass button clutch because im sick of frying clutches instead of tyres. I also lowered the car with king spring ultras all round, recently bought a set of VY SS rims in 18", after a set of Genuine Signatures though. Im hoping to see around 200-220rwkw, the car should be mobile in the next 2-3weeks so it will be going for a power readout as soon as its done. Its also going in for a respray soon, same colour blue but with astroid silver bumpers, was thinking about a fake calais conversion but not real sure now. Ill keep everyone posted as i go, so tell me what you all think. Cheers Scott. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I fixed the little problem it had. Turned out to be a blocked cat. Was running 14psi with blocked cat, we removed the cat and took it for a test drive and it was boosting to like 30psi, So smashed the guts out of the cat and turned the boost back down to 15psi and now it really hauls arse
