It wasnt a fatal (friday night). The two cars had been racing each other all night and both managed to hit the same tree without hitting each other. The one I saw looked absolutely wrecked... with pretty much no front in it.

The cops were definatley out in force imposing their stronger police presence by hunting in packs of 6 cop cars up and down the highway. If they want to stop drag racing, why not spread the cars out over the highway, park in visible spots to deter racing instead of hunting like sharks looking for easy defects.

And sorry to who ever crashed friday night... i was driving my stock 6 on firday night so it should of been me...HERO

cops were out hardcore on friday night, got followed a number of times. across the road from kebab joint on the hwy, 3 TMU cars impounding one car. great use of resources Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah they were hoon towing tons of cars. We sat around and followed the cops up and down the highway and watched what they were doing. One guy in a black silvia pulled away from lights, his car backfired, and then the cops floored it out after him. What a waste. Instead of saving lives, lets write defects. Makes sense to me.. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

shame to see people get hurt and learn the hard way, but doing stupid things has concequences.... usually are not good ones. pretty sad how the only way a lot of people learn is through coming to this result.

Hence why i made the comment about the ecotech. And i bet my left nut they wernt cruising at the speed displayed on the road signs. so thats pretty much the point. Obviously not everyone can afford a v8 etc.. i agree. So next time you take your 16 second weapon out think before switching out of economy to power.

The accident happened only 100-150 metres from the lights. There is no way known they were doing much more than the indicated speed. They would not have got traction to break even 100ks in that distance, let alone 80.

Yer the public road doesnt have much traction these days and all the stones on the roads wouldnt of helped either.

Well considereing the road was wet with formed puddles, and both being v8's im tipping they couldnt have been going that fast. We didnt see the accident happen, we got caught up behind an old VK commy (that had to be jump started to get out) cuz the cops blocked us in.
