Hi, Just bought a vlt t3/t4 highflow with the following specs: Standard vlt core and exhaust housing 58mm rear wheel (housing machined) 60mm 6/12 blade T04 front wheel in a t04b front housing Has anyone out there got a similar highflow combination on a stocko rb30et and can tell me: At what rpm does it start making boost? At what rpm does it make full boost, and what psi is that? Im planning on putting this on a manual rb30et and i don't want a lag demon! Cheers,

i had a t3 highflow with bigger front and rear wheels etc and it was responsive but mine still ran a t3 comp cover.

i would say you would be waiting till at least 3500 for that to really start pushing.

it will be fine, will be going by 3000 easy, start boost at around 2k rpm or tad after, much like stock turbo in my experience, but with more grunt potential. standard turbine housing means response doesn't change much.

Mine has the same front specs, the rear is slightly bigger (vg30) and the rear wheel is also bigger. Mine starts making boost around 2800 depending which gear your in and starts to really hammer after 3500. 15psi @ 4000rpm It is streetable but its a different experience than a stock turbo that reachs fullboost 1000rpm earlier

Sounds like a to4e front, to4b is a 56mm wheel. In a manual it should be making boost around 2400-2600 with something like 15psi by around 3000-3200. Itll be fine on the street!

It does make full boost in first but not as soon as there is less load. 2nd gear sh!ts on 1st lol there where the pull is

does anyone know the sizes of a ta34 sierra turbine is? my front is about the same as yours (t04e comp and housing) comes on really hard at about 3000 at a guess havent really looked but, in a manual, biggest problem is keeping traction in 1st and 2nd on street tires but with mickeys its fine coming on boost in 2nd, 1st is still a problem but. mine pulls really hard right the way till red line but i have a big cam aswell.

3500 is sounding a bit late for my liking (std cam). i needed a new t3 flange gasket so that has turned up and it should be going by tomorrow (fingers crossed).
