For those that have had their car's tuned on this fuel for the street, it might be retune time.
For those that might be confused;
Shell V Power Racing = 100 R.O.N
Shell V Power = 98 R.O.N
BP Ultimate = 98 R.O.N
A shame, as it was the best fuel on the street.

12-07-08, 17:29 GMT+10#10 well bp buys of mobil so go 2 either its exactly the same petrol thats why im pretty sure bp has a little more price on mobil cause mobil sell and make money off them.
but imagine $8.00 a ltr lol and have a drop tank
work out the sum
normally fill up 70ltrs or so
70 x 8 = $550 to fill ya car up
1 cruise every 6months haha

No replacement. That's it for that fuel.
Could you really be ****ed buying $20 bottle's of octane booster every time you fill up?
I'd rather just get it tuned on 98 R.O.N fuel, and leave it at that for the street.
BP Ultimate it is for me from now on.

12-07-08, 18:10 GMT+10#13 Ive always used BP ultimate as I never liked the stories about the toluene in the shell fuels and it stretching fuel lines and other parts of the system causing failures.
BP is tops!

12-07-08, 18:42 GMT+10#15 V Power Racing was a ripoff anyway... an extra 7 cents a litre for another 2 octane points? No thanks

mobil just turn the crude into petrol each company put different additives into it, its not exactly the same.
All fuel in vic comes from either shell or mobil as there the only ones with the facilities to break down the crude into the appropriate raw products.

12-07-08, 20:03 GMT+10#17 Igz i always told you that BP was the way to go, Shell 100 has been rubbish if it was good all the top engine builders would be recomending it. Just take a look around our area and see how many big boy cars there are and not 1 of them use shell
