Hey all this is my n/a Vl wagon i have been doing up over the last year bought it pretty much as a paddock bomb and spent alot of my spare time and money doing it up. I got all the rust cut out of it and welded up which was a huge job including taking out front and back windows and putting a whole new front roof section in. I then resprayed it with a mate in two pack got all the new parts needed. Future mods for it are going to be superlows all round with shocks and bushes, tint the windows calais door trim and new carpet and seats, a sub and amp, bigger wheels and when i get off the p's a turbo. Hope you all like please comment. This is what i started with progress Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

thats pretty impressive, i would like to have a wagon like that. you gonna put mudflaps back on or what, i cut mine down i bit jsut to compensate for the low car and high speed humps, they do stop that dirty spary on the bars.

I saw this over on Streetwagons, I must say well done on putting so much work into that. I know I couldnt be bothered going so far with what you had. Just dump it and add Calais skirts IMHO and it will look like a real nice cruiser.

nice looking car mate, lokks like alot of work but by the look of the pics it has payed off. as for the calais skirts they join up with plastic clips that you have to get aswell. not to sure about where to get them from though, seen them for sale on here a few times before or a holden wreckers or spares shop should be able to help ya out.

love the vkc mould but i agree you need the vlc skirts. these 'clip' on to white clips which are available from rare spares. many people just screw them on however (screws underneath out of sight with a bead of sickaflex along the top.) i would personally screw the white clips into the sil then attach the skirt from there. as above that is one hell of a transformation congratulations you now have yourself a really nice blank rust free canvs to build on.

Thanks alot for the help.. i think the next thing on my list now will have to be the skirts they sound like they are pretty easy to do and should be cheapish... It's also good with no rust you cant feel the air coming through the top of the windscreen Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey all just a quick up date on the wagon.. Just finished lowering it with Fe2 VN sedan springs for the front and back just gotta buy a set of rear shocks and maybe a panhard rod and i should be all set, it rides a heap better now and handles all the bumps. Tell me what ya think. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
