Didn't want to start another thread but didn't have much of a choice. The pulleys for the rear windows, are they in the doors with non power windows factory? Secondly, do I only need what's pictured plus the 2 mechanisms with the cabling that runs around the pullies?

Yes, the 4 pulleys are in the doors and one big one attached to the bracket that goes on the motor for the rear doors. If by mechanisms you mean the big alloy bracket pulley parts that your missing in the second photo? Have fun my man... the wire spaghetti that you gotta put around those pulleys for the rear is a fucken cunt - if you can, try and find a mate who has done it before because its a real fiddly job.

Looking forward to wire spaghetti for sure. I've got a friend of the family that's been a mechanic for holden since as far as I can remember. I was hoping I could do the fronts while he did the rears. By mechanisms I mean, this picture. Not looking forward too it, I was just going to track down some doors with it all already in, but after seeing rarespares charging 345 per motor I figured it wouldn't be worth it. I'd better take the door trims off and go nuts with the WD40 now after reading about yours. By the way how did you wire them up, did you wire them up seperately or did you chuck in the wiring that came with it somehow? I've got the harness for the windows but I was probably going to leave it up to an autoelectrician to wire them in however they wanted.

Never ended up wiring them in, they're still inside the car in the shed, I've lost interest in the white car all together... shame kinda Daz Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Bax, I used the factory loom. Its not much fun feeding it through the dash etc....and the wiring is 20 years old, so if you've got the coin I'd pay someone to make you a new loom. The rear windows aren't THAT hard, once you get used to it. And yeah, like Dazza said, the pulleys are the same in all doors. What you DO want to ensure is the that doors and chassis have holes for the wiring to pass through.

Which is a no. I was planning on just chucking them in - then dropping it off at an auto electrician and saying this is now your responsibility. But I'll see what happens I guess.
