Hey all have done a bit of research and the general jist is that the tighe 1665C cam is most popular in a 250-300rwkw street driven vl. if anyone has 1 let me know. Also im lead to believe they require new blocks? if so anyone selling a complete cam & block package would be great.

i always thought the wade 818b cam was the cam of choice for a gt35/40
(.82 or 1.06) to get 10s and best street application
and wade 1147c cam was the choice for anything 9s an below using 1000hp turbos + used mainly for race

to be totally honest im not sure, i have heard alot of ppl swearing by their "lukevl" tighe cam.
Im chasing a cam to suit a mild street car 250-300rwkw, and i dont want a power range exceeding 6800rpm. car is man, gt3540, ace plennum, ace cooler, xf t/b slightly lower compression, lt8, and injectors still searching.

Just send your cam and blocks to Tighe in Brissy, I gather Luke is not there anymore but the grind is...will be up and back in a fortnight.

sounds like you got some very good gear
mate made 297rwkw and itr was a very aggressive tune in a manual ith simmilar gear he had no lag on the street.
he had a wade 818b motec rajab plenum 550cc injectors mx7 manual xf t/b
i dont know much about the tighe cam but i guess if the bigger workshops use it then it might be good
only way to find out is to give it a good
