Just recently completed a rebuild in my vlct, it has a low mount gt35/40 internal gated turbo in the factory positing, but one of the bits on top of the rocker cover hasnt got anything attatched to it, is there supposed to be something there? This is the only pic i have of it atm, in the pic you can see the first one but the second one is out of shot. thanks Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

If you still have standard plenum the fron one stays and the rear can go to a catch can, if you have an aftermarket plenum both can go to a catch can.

its got the factory plenum, so i jsut use a catch can with one line

Yeah thats how mine is, it wouldnt hurt to get the thread tapped out and get a larger fitting put in either, help it breath a little more, get a right angle one put in, then you can run the hose down towards the back of the engine and hide the catch can easier.

the one at the front has a one way valve in it, take it off and weld the hole over (as in the bit you take off, its steal not aloy then put it back in) or get a bolt the right size, then plumb both into a catch can.

It wont affect your driving, dirt and sh1t could get in though, and If your engine breaths a bit of oil, it will go every where. Thats the best one I have as there are no pipes in the way. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

yeh no worries, thanks for the help mate i will probably end up doing something like that

if you leave the front one connected to the plenum and leave the back one open to atmosphere then the engine will be drawing in unmetered air under vacuum. The back one is normally connected to the intake pipe before the turbo and after the AFM.

yeh i remember what used to go there, ive got a gt35/40 on it now, and atm it hasnt got anything on it, so i guess ill have to pop a catch can on

if you put a catch can on with a breather it will still draw in unmetered air
