im the owner of the car ! yes thats correct.....firstly good luck in trying to find an originals calais that hasnt been butchered !,,,,,check on every post in the for sale section on calais turbo every one has nearly got gauges piping cut into the gaurds,,,also is currently insured with shannons...i drove it down there to there head office newstead in brisbane and is at $12.000 so i think that it must be pretty good nick...i have every reciept spent for the last 5 years......the background is there for whats been done.....its simple you pay you drive......theres nothing more to do..........it has got brand new gmh items all over the car from badges lower door moulds bootstrips taillightmoulds..headlight protectors all genuine.........brand new centre consile lid no wear what so ever !!........you can not buy these parts any longer from holden ......i did alot of searching to source these parts for over a year......and come accross them..........yes you can buy badges from rare spares but there aftremarket and not the same size......mate are you interested is that why you asked if so come and have a look

He is the owner. It may be a bit for a mock-up, but he prides himself on the detail. Most people just get 2nd rate calais parts and throw them on. Craig will only put the best of the best (new if possible) on the car and no detail has been left out. If you didn't look at the VIN plates, you wouldn't pick it to not be a real calais from factory.

I've had a good look at this car several times, and the attention to detail is spot on. No expense has been spared, all original parts have been used to make it as genuine as possible. New owner will not be disapointed.
Best of luck with sale Craig, it's a top car.
Cheers Mark.

This car looks very clean, its even got the pinstriping down the sides still and the polished engine parts look great. You might not pick thats its not a factory calais, but things like the plenum let you know thats its more than likely not a factory turbo. Good luck with the sale, definetely a clean example, i payed $9180 in early 2004 for a MINT!!!!! (122,000 k's) Berlina converted to turbo, only the A6 block, VIN number and N/A Auto gearbox gave it away, otherwise it was a near perfect conversion. So for anyone thinking its too much for a mockup, then guess what, you don't have to buy it, you're paying for a clean unmolested calais with genuine parts in near new condition.
