id say Street Commodores has a better magazine than SMC, cant say the same for some of the staff though. i like the photography better in SMC, but i dont think write ups (articles) get any better than what street commodores produce, so they both have pro's and con's, but i think SC comes out on top. i agree with above, zoom is the best

SMC is a terrible publication. Very few photos of cars with very little emphasis placed on the story behind the build. Street Commodores would be better if they got rid of Liam and Jack and wasn't printed 3 months in advance (or is that behind?) I remember reading in your thread on SC ages ago that you really wanted a feature in Street Commodores?

i like SC because it doesnt just feature cars, it touches on the whole 'modified commodore scene' in general. and the writeups are top notch, as well as the photos, although some may question the choices of some of the feature cars, yeah, we know, you're going for "attainability". some of them still suck. MISBHV purple VK for example. gag. SMC is ridiculous. the writeups are budget, and the photos are so zoomed in you cant get any perspective of what you're looking at. and as for zoom - im a big fan of zoom. in fact all i have to read up here in english is an fhm, a ralph, and 2 copies of zoom. very good mag.

Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

^^ backpedalling much? you said SC was sh1t, then u said smc was better, then u got shutdown by either jack or benny lava, i cant remember, cause they said ur car wasnt featureworthy (yet).. then u flipped it around by saying that u CHOSE smc over sc, implying that you had offers from both magazines. now ur sitting here playing the role of the diplomat saying sc is a good magazine and god knows what else (i stopped reading your crap). please - STOP TYPING.

Street commodores has improved markedly, even over the last few months. Still not tip top though. Maybe they are struggling for feature cars? Street machine is toilet paper now; not anything STREET about it. It is all a bunch of big dollar wanker show cars, with a list of workshops that they paid to build said car with their drug money. Zoom is an awesome magazine, but is a little questionable since changing editors, and the style of the magazine. That said, they have awesome variety, and content. Also been reading a few Extreme street, Extreme Holden, and Extreme Ford. These seem to fill a bit of the void left by the once all conquering SM. To be honest, i have never picked up an issue of SMC, and had a good read, it just doesn't 'grab' me and dix, where are you?

im in europe... i travel alot, and i hate flying so usually scotch and magazines distract me from my flight related anxiety (i freak the **** out) so everytime im about to fly somewhere i buy SC, SMC, and zoom along with some titty mags and the thing about SC thats my favourite part, even if ive read over it or flipped thru it 10 times, every time i sit down and flip thru it, i always find something new that i havent read before. theres just a lot of good stuff in there. in any case, i just wanna see what cheetr says now lol

personally i cant stand any of them, purely just because of the way they word the articals, for example..... ringo's 202 powerplant grips to the road with the help of 20 inchs of dolice perfection, wraped tightly with 40 profile of nangkang rubber to help keep this beast straight while doing street dutys. sometimes it just best to keep it simple wording
