Am pretty sure that all the S pac Ute's around that time had LSD's as standard. I know both the VR and VU versions my old man owned did. Corsa

Yes, when a open-wheeler starts to wear out it can spin both wheels. But LSD was an option in the S pack.

An open wheeler diff wont cause both wheels to spin if its wearing out. If both wheels spin it because there is equal pressure on both as the torque over power grip. In actually fact both wheels wont spin the same speed at all, 1 wheel will be going faster than the other as weight changes sides. Only a tight LSD or locker will cause the wheels to spin exactly the same speed. To test for a worn single wheeler check back lash on the pinion gear. Take the back plate off and measure spider gear clearances. Or the stupid mans way is if you hear a "ting" going from reverse to drive its farrrrrrked Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
