Long story short I have a tial bov that opens at idle like this (ignore what the yank is saying) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRuM8ja1AuU
WTF is goin on, Ive never seen a BOV open while just idleing is it normal?
EDIT: this one stays shut???http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpnV-...eature=related (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpnV-rMjIjg&feature=related)

the spring pressure is not enough to shut it under vacume, tighten the spring tensioner up or get a heavier spring, however tightening the spring may cause the coil to bind up and shorten valve travel ( well it did on my greddy copy bov ) went to a turbosmart v port and i can have it as loose as i want without the valve open at idle and it opens with the lightest boost

i dont know to be honest, ask an advertiser whether they can supply a heavier spring, i was always under the impression that u can get heavier springs.
Cant you wind some tension into it. Its adjustable so it can be changed at idle till its sitting closed?? No bolt/nut/screw on the head of the bov to wind down? you only go so far as so it closes so you dont limit its normal operation.
Have a look at the Tial site and it shows Tial BOV springs. I had one on my VL and I dont know the pressure but it only went off when I was revving it hard and the BOV was hidden under the right guard.
If I was you I would go with a decent psi spring as if it goes off normal like some of the other posers on this site, you will have the PO PO all over you .
