i was just wondering would a 5 speed rb30 supercharged with r33 box run perfect with a turbo manual ecu . Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

It depends what supercharger, how you have it set up, what injectors, and a whle bunch of other things. But potentially that could run well.

oh ok its no9t for me so i dont know the set up its for the guy that is buying my manual turbo comp . thanx

It has boost mapping in the ecu so im sure it will work perfectly so long as you use the turbo injectors it will make for a fun little project. Beats using an n/a ecu and injectors by a country mile id say!

Either use na injectors/ecu or turbo injectors/ecu, will run like a dog if you mix n match What supercharger it running?

Beats using an n/a ecu and injectors by a country mile id say! actually no AFM car has boost mapping seeing as they read airflow not pressure, but they have a big difference in timing maps im guessing it will be the SC14 charger, max boost would be around 7psi, but usually 3-4psi, NA ecu and injectors should be fine, but turbo injectors and ecu would be safer and more practical. but as ive never used a SC14/charged setup, i have no experience on what works

Thats basically what i was saying without getting techincal about it. The big difference in the maps is due to it being mapped for boost pressure. N/A ecu = vac maps Turbo ecu = boost maps

I had a supercharged VL with a VLT ECU and injectors.. it worked fine, it would work the same on a NA/turbo/supercharged car. as long as you go VLT ECU and injectors its fine.

u could get a nistune for around 400$ then it dosnt matter what ecu u have u can use an auto n/a ecu for that setup with the nistune

N/A ecu = vac maps Turbo ecu = boost maps The computer knows nothing about the pressure of air going into the engine, it only knows about its mass. To differentiate the computers by saying 'boost' and 'vacuum' maps is not entirely correct.

or get a nistune n tune it perfect Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I have a mate with a SC14 charger and was running 14psi (190kw from memory). Jordys spot on with the ecu. The AFM messure's air mass/flow unlike with a MAP senser setup where it reads boost/vac at the manifold.

Im not sure but I think he said the charger my have been highflowed before he got it. He also had to move the powersteering pump to the other side with a modified bracket. It has very loud belt noise to that gets to your ear drums after awhile Its been going strong for 5 months now and has distroyed a NA auto box. Now I think it has R33 5spd in it. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

interesting reading i got sc14 setup at the mo but still in the fiddling stage got n/a ecu running 370cc injectors, thinking i might mod the afm to measure less air flow by making the pipe section larger to correct the mixture... any thoughts????

How the hell do you have a na ecu running 370cc injectors??? Do u have a nistune board? Changing the size of the AFM pipe wont do anything either. I dout it would run out of flow before its calibration limits. Best to just upgrade to a Z32 AFM

the max RPM of them blowers is 14k, I got a pully made for mine that got it to 13k at 6k engine RPM, so there was a little more out of it but not much and that was 10PSI from memory, but at that level it was so fucken hot you couldnt touch it, Even with the idle bypass wastegate setup. oh and other mods affect how much boost your gauge will read. i had a small cooler, Extractors and 2.5" exhaust. With out all that you would see more like 14PSI but less power.

He was running kooler and 2.5" exhaust. Had a top and bottom pully made up.
