hi, just had my turbo motor rebuilt, they dropped the motor in on tuesday and 3 days they have tired to get it going with no luck, at first they thoiught it was the reg so i got them a adjustable one with a guage showing mpressure, theres fuel, theres spark in the plugs, we pulled them out and sat the in the bay and theres spark, we took the timing cover off and the pins sit vertically up( is that correct?) made sure all re lays are there (this was the problem the first time around) tried changing timing around, coil the car cranks and wants to start but just wont, it started once but idle really **** sounded like running on 4 cylinders, they had to turn it off because all the power steering fuild got sucked in casue of the new rack, and was making noise, so they turned it off andno longer using it. im out of ideas any ideas thanks

It is the same.... Take the dizzy out.... You need to get motor to TDC....get the mark furthest to the left on the crank pulley lined up with the notch on the cam cover...make sure the small punch mark in the cam gear is also at 12 oclock (ish) once you got crank pulley lined up...take your dizzy, line up the punch mark on the end of the dizzy with the small notch on the dizzy shaft...insert dizzy....set timing. You have fuel, you have spark....it must be a timing issue. What ECU are you using? Factory?

Another common mistake is putting the fuel lines on incorrectly. The return line goes to the regulator.

Can someone explain the fuel line situation a bit better for me. Isnt there only a feed from the pump & a line to the engine? I may have done the same thing. how does the return factor into this .

might have kinked the harness, cas might have died, best thing to do is pull the piping off and put aero start in the throttle body if it fires up you know its a fuel problem if it doesnt fire up your cas is most likely dead, if it does start with aero start check your plugs to the injectors with the old harneses when you plug them in sometimes the contacts can slip out from the plug and not make contact
