Ok, the gasket between the turbo and the exhaust manifold on my stocker is shot.
The fitters at work have assured me its an easy job to change (given that they work on diesel turbos etc all day im inclined to believe them) but im still hesitant as i keep hearing that the bolts shear off easily.
what are your thoughts? is it simple enough to change for a fairly mechanically minded person?
further more, would the following style gasket work?

dont know bout the copper gasket, usually they are steel ,stronger... but i did mine once before... if u jnow how to pull off the manifold bolts n put them back on without strippin em its an easy job to save $$$
Nissan still stock the factory gasket, personally i'd use that.
NISSAN
Part number: 14415-4P200
Cost me $40 or so.
It's not that hard a job, although the oil/water lines can be fiddly.

haha, most likely bud, your better off than me, i dont get boost till over 3k AND its not terribly stable... good fun.
ok, i've ordered a new gasket and bolts, figured might as well change them at the same time to be sure they're in good order. will be changing it out as soon as they arrive. turns out no1 in my local area keeps them handy :S
Ok, i have the gasket handy now.
I take it I am going to have to remove the entire manifold in order to access teh turbo bolts? It doesnt look like there will be enough movement to just drop it down (if its at all possible to even remove the bolts with the manifold still in position)
