I realise there are probably a few threads already on this topic, but I am in need of some serious no-bull**** advise! I have been looking for a new system, and have been told so many different brands to get, and one person saying one thing and someone saying the complete opposite! I want good sound quality through 6 inch splits up front and either 1 or 2 12s subs in the rear, plus amp to run all... What brands should i be looking at? I have been told to look at Boston, JL and Kicker? Any suggestions? budget $1600. Also where to go in Sydney in get good install? Deck with hands-free blue-tooth, and ipod compatible. Pioneer (DEH-P800BT/P7050BT) or Alpine Deck? Thanks guys appreciate your advise! Mike

hey mate, for 1600 ya probz wont get the high end gear u want.. ive got rockford forsegate splits, 2 12s rockford subs and 2 kicker amps. my set up was well over the 1600 mark.. but quality was on my mind so i did some reaseach n spoke to blokes at autosalon and so forth. i ended up with exactly what i wanted. might be worth saving a bit more if ur after high end stuff.

fcuk i hate these threads go listen to someone that has this gear in their car and then make up your mind. Just because its Alpine or kicker doesnt mean its going to be good

yer thats sound fine mate.. But have you listened to these products before? If it is the type R sub they go hard and all that seems to be a decent price. But listen to it before you buy it

The boys are setting up the sub in the shop for me next week, heard the splits and they sound good for the price, personally even better than some infinity splits i heard for double the price..
