i can get a almost new set of rims for a great price but unfortunately there ford stud pattern iv heard of spacers and such but also heard that there illegal these rims are so close to fitting is so frustrating but theres just that little bit of difference between the stud pattern so id there any way to LEGALLY(pit inspection soon) fit ford pattern rims to a VL or at least a way that i wont get caught wit Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

there might be, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere near you when all your studs shear off.

You can get blank rotors drilled & taped to suit.

sounds expensive? ill probably just sell them off then unless anyone knows

your far better off selling them to get holden wheels.

Yea expecialy when they are so cheap to get commodore rims you can pickup the blank rotors for about the same price as normal, its not like they are hard job. 8 bolts and wheelnuts, But not sure on the drilling and the rest, I spose if you cant get the wheels you want and they are unbeatable then maybe worth the effort, but you have to look into hub sizes and possibly getting the wheels bored out, or if they are smaller then a ****load more work. Better to buy holdens.

Can have them welded up and redrilld... But **** that... I'd buy them if they are so cheap, sell them to someone with a falcon, make some coin out of them and buy a set that fits that you like... Everyones a winner and you even get to live...

yeah i think that sounds like a good option, i feel bad making money out of someones stupidity though haha

you can take them to a rim repair shop, have them welded and re-drilled legal and safe but for what it costs you may aswell buy holden.

unsure as to if this would be legal or not as to me it looked rather dodgy. but my tafe teacher on his project car. its a real old half tonne truck cant remember the year. his got i think it was hk front end in it. but on the holden discs his just knocked the studs out and drilled other holes into the discs in the ford stud pattern then put the studs into them. like i said it looks pretty dodgy and from memory one or two of the holes actually connected with one of the original ones therefore making it like an 8 shaped hole. would have to be a fair bit weaker and more prone to breakage. cheers Matt

why not re drill the rims inbetween the original holes? like multistud wheels??

why dont i just get an angle grinder and cut them into mulitstud peices the idea wouldnt even have crossed my mind to convert them but its just the fact that theres only about 5mm of metal in ONE of the holes thats stopping them go on and iv never seen them on a vl b4 and theyd look good **** it ill just sell em n be done with it

Why are you trying to fit Ford wheels to your Holden? Is that not the most inportant question here? Or are they some sh*tty aftermarket rim with Ford stud pattern? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Destroy all load bearing capabilitys and hopefully they will snap every stud off when you drive it. You could always weld the wheels on while your at it.

to put it plain n simple theres 5 almost brand new 17's with literally brand new tyres for 300$ there "****ty" aftermarket ones not ford rims

If there is only 5mm metal stopping it from fitting then the wheel would not be sitting center to the hub, there fore making it alot more than 5mm. Even if you removed the metal the rim would not sit over the hub, if for some amazing reason it did, it would be like having eggs for wheels. Sell the rims and tyres make a few $ and buy the correct fitting rims and tyres, or sell rims only keep the tyres and out them on a set of commodore rims.

Just sell the rims you got at a good price and buy new rims to suit your car. Simple.

Even if you did get the stud pattern right (and legally somehow), the offset of the rims would make the track width illegal. Sell em to someone who owns a ford, and buy some rims that are 5x120 PCD.
