What's your budget? VL? Usually a headunit, good splits and amp will do...

Opps, yeah forgot the sub... Whatever you do don't buy Rampage... Just get a 300rmw 12in sub, you can usually pick them up fairly cheap... somewhere around $200 boxed So your system would look like this Headunit - Apline, JVC or Pioneer Splits - Hertz, Rainbow, RF, Focal Amp - Response (cheap and nice power) Sub - Just some cheap but brand name from Autobarn or alike... Cost - $1000-$2000 + install

I have a friend who has about $3,000 of sound and vision in his VL. he first bought the speakers. (make sure there good quality), long story with my mates speakers. LOL. then before putting anything else, you need to seal the boot, otherwise you'll have a rattling boot. then after you've sealed the boot i would install the subs then the amp.
